Support the Next Generation of Economically Independent Douglass Women

Support the Next Generation of Economically Independent Douglass Women

In this month’s Spotlight, you read about amazing Douglass women, students and alumnae alike, who are thriving as entrepreneurs. By utilizing the foundational skills inherent in a Douglass education to guide their visions, these women are courageously pursuing their dreams. If you are interested in supporting current students as they develop these same skills, consider supporting the opportunities below.

Support the BOLD Center for Leadership and Career Development at Douglass

The BOLD Center (Building Opportunities for Leadership and Career Development) positions Douglass students for excellence in work and life by providing an innovative and enriching set of leadership, mentoring, career, and personal development programs. The BOLD Center programs help students to clarify their academic and career goals, connect with role models and mentors whose lives and work are exemplary, and prepare for success in their personal and professional lives. You can support the BOLD Center with a gift to fund an externship experience for a student, to bring entrepreneurial speakers to campus, or to support first-generation students.

Support Educating Women Global Leaders at Douglass

Students today live and study in a globalized world. Global interdependence in commerce, communications, legislation, and the movement of populations will shape their futures. The best education today prepares students to steward this new world order in ways that support women and others whose rights are not yet realized around the world. You can support the education of women global leaders with a gift to fund the Global Village or other academic programs.

Gifts in support of programs like these help make the Douglass Difference for students at the College today and in the future. For more information about giving directly to Douglass student scholarships and programs, please contact me at any time. Please note that the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College (AADC) does not raise money for Douglass students and programs.
