The Bunting Cobb Sciences Living-Learning Community, commonly known as the Bunting Cobb LLC, is an innovative STEM experience for women intending on majoring in the sciences to live together on the Douglass Campus.
Participating students enjoy the benefits of sharing common residential, academic, professional, and support experiences while making new friends, exploring common interests, and being part of a close community of peers. Currently the Bunting Cobb LLC includes a structured first-year curriculum and continuous support for students as they move into their upper class years.
Bunting Cobb LLC students benefit from the following:
- Sharing a residential experience with other students in science majors
- Residing on the Douglass Campus, the home of Douglass Residential College. Explore the Bunting Cobb residence hall on the Douglass Campus
- Having a residential STEM Academic Leader and Graduate Mentor as support peer mentors
- Enrollment in a house course that explores hands-on and real-world applications of STEM
- Free tutoring and study groups for STEM coursework
- Eligibility for future funding to attend STEM conferences.
Prospective first-year students should complete the Rutgers Housing Application, linked in the MyRutgers dashboard, and the supplemental application here.
