Community Catalysts (988:294:01)

The Douglass Community Catalysts take a semester-long course in intergroup dialogue while serving as campus ambassadors. Design events, initiatives, strategies, and projects that create lasting impact across campus spaces. Work to address real issues that affect student life and the community. Strengthen connection, belonging, and impact across living-learning communities, student organizations, and campus partnerships.

Mentoring and Leadership Practicum: (01:988:299)

Perfect for students interested in adding a leadership lens to their academic and career pathways.  Learn feminist teaching theories, engage in experiential learning, and implement mindfulness practices. A unique collaboration with students from Dublin City University’s leadership course helps foster global perspectives on leadership, knowledge, and power. Interested in being a Barbara Voorhees Mentor? Students must complete this course to become eligible for the Barbara Voorhees Mentoring Program.

Barbara Voorhees Peer Mentors

Become a peer mentor at Douglass! Share your knowledge, build leadership skills, and connect with students taking Knowledge and power. This position earns a stipend! 

DRC Peer Mentors

Students who complete the Barbara Voorhees Mentoring Program and demonstrate successful peer mentoring practices are eligible to apply to serve as a peer mentor for all Douglass students. Students take a team approach to peer mentoring, with each mentor offering one Zoom meeting open to all DRC students per month and 1 hour of dedicated office hours per month.

Mentor a STEM Living-Learning Community. 

SUPER Research Mentors

Share your love of research with new STEM research students. Students who have previously completed Douglass' SUPER STEM Research program are eligible to become paid peer mentors.
