Three DRC Students

The Douglass Difference

We set out four years ago with a goal of raising ten million dollars. You responded with overwhelming support, contributing more than fifteen million dollars for scholarships and program support. On behalf of Douglass students, thank you for investing in their future. Special thanks go to Barbara Rodkin, our campaign chair, as well as Julie Domonkos, chair of the Douglass Alumnae Advisory Board, and all of our board members.

Thank you to the donors to the Power of 100 Years Campaign; you have helped shape Douglass’ first century and you will carry us into our second century of success. Every gift to the college makes an impact on students, and we are full of gratitude for the accomplishments we have achieved together.

Douglass is a “women’s place” envisioned by Adrienne Rich – a physical space, a mode of life, an opening of the mind, a development of expertise, a sense of community, and ethos, an attitude, a forging of friendships, and an accumulation of memories. Whether you realize it or not, your support makes this a women’s place. Thank you for your continued support.

We continue to rely on our alumnae and donors as we begin our second century of success. Your support provides much-needed funds for the care and development of Douglass’ signature, innovative programs, and enables enhanced learning opportunities for our students—allowing them to broaden their education, establish their place in the world, and pioneer their futures. Your continued generosity to Douglass will help us as we evolve and stand out as a national model for women’s education.

Philanthropic support is vital to enrich programming and provide merit based or financial need scholarships to our students. By giving to Douglass you are directly supporting students. For more information about giving directly to Douglass student scholarships and programs, please contact us. Please note that the Associate Alumnae of Douglass College (AADC) does not raise money for Douglass students and programs.
