Douglass Day Recap
On October 13, the College hosted Douglass Day: Tradition, Vision, Impact. Over 120 community members returned to campus to engage in a showcase Douglass’ innovative programs, leadership, history, & future. Guests spoke with current Douglass students, met newly appointed Douglass Dean, Dr. Meghan Rehbein, and even partook in Douglass’ foundational class, Knowledge & Power: Issues in Women's leadership.

A Message from Dean Rehbein:
I was so pleased recently to welcome alumnae and friends to campus for Douglass Day. We wanted to provide an opportunity to experience the College as it is today, to hear from current students, and to see firsthand why a Douglass education is more important than ever. With that in mind, we created a series of events, displays, demonstrations, meetings, tours, and talks that focused firmly on today’s remarkable students and on the exceptional opportunities they have for hands-on, experiential learning at Douglass.
Douglass students graduate as curious, capable adults, ready to meet both adventures and challenges directly and with confidence. Their journey through the Douglass curriculum is exploratory, experimental, and expansive, and it is made available in large measure due to the generosity of our alumnae, parents, and friends, such as yourself.
When you support Douglass, you fund programs, projects, learning, and career preparedness. You support student travel and one-on-one mentoring. You open doors to new ideas, fields, and paths, and you encourage students to try something new, no matter if they succeed or fail.
It is through your generosity that our students are afforded adventures and experiences they would not, and could not, access on their own.
