Call for Externship Site Mentors!

Calling all Alumnae!

Douglass students are invited each year to participate in the Reilly Program at the BOLD Center at Douglass for Advancing Women’s Professional Development, a comprehensive and immersive experience that educates and prepares them for careers of impact and distinction. The Reilly BOLD program offers a specialized professional development curriculum combined with an immersive workplace experience, known as an externship.

The BOLD Center is currently recruiting site mentors for the 2024-2025 Reilly BOLD Externship Program. This year, our goal is to fill over 200 externship positions, and we need your support to achieve this. We invite you to join us in mentoring the next generation of leaders by becoming a site mentor!

Would you like to be a site mentor, or do you know someone who may be interested? Extend your reach to family, friends, colleagues, and more alike and encourage their participation?

Below is an easy run-down on how to explain externships and next steps!

Insight: Externships are short (1-2 week) job shadowing opportunities where students get to participate in career exploration and discuss mentoring topics related to career development. **See attached one pager for more information!**

Site Mentor Requirements: Serve as a current working professional in ANY industry.
