Calling all artists, art lovers, and queer studies historians! This year-long learning community is ideal for students interested in learning about the work of trans, queer, and gender nonconforming artists and exploring representations of gender in visual art and photo-based media. Students will receive 1.5 credits per semester. Course will conclude with an exhibition at the end of the spring semester. Instructed by Leah DeVun, 2024-2025 Lebowitz Artist-in-Residence, and artist Em Gallagher. This experience counts for both R2: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion & R3: Douglass Discovery curriculum requirements.
