Douglass Cheers on RU Women's Basketball at the Black Excellence Game
This month, Douglass students, staff, and families showed their school pride at the Rutgers Women’s Basketball Black Excellence Game. Gathered in the stands of Jersey Mike’s Arena, attendees cheered for the Scarlet Knights as they faced off against Northwestern, enjoying an evening filled with celebration, stadium snacks, and a sense of community. The game honored Black Excellence both on and off the court. The halftime show featured special dance performances by the National Pan-Hellenic Council's Greek organizations, a collaborative umbrella council comprising historically Black and African American fraternities and sororities.
Douglass had a fantastic time celebrating and supporting Rutgers women athletes and student performers! Check out the video event recap below for more.
