Visit Campus

A historic building, College Hall has been home to Douglass since the inception of the College. Today, the building houses Douglass staff in the Office of the Dean, including Dean Jacquelyn Litt. In College Hall, students can also find staff in Douglass' recruitment and advancement offices. 

The Sacred Path is the name of the historic walkway from George Street to College Hall. It is also the site of the Sacred Path Ceremony, a Douglass tradition that celebrates the moving up of classes, academic excellence, and student achievement each spring. 

Voorhees Chapel is one of two chapels on the Rutgers University – New Brunswick campus. Built in 1925 with a donation from Elizabeth Rodman Voorhees, this Georgian-style chapel is the College’s central location for ceremonies, plenaries, and concerts. Here, you will welcome incoming students at Fall Convocation, engage deeply with Knowledge and Power speakers, celebrate the winter season with Douglass' traditional Yule Log ceremony.

The Kathleen Ludwig Center is the home of many Douglass programs. In this building, you will take classes, study with friends in collaborative lounges, and attend Douglass events.

Carpender Hall houses all of Douglass' program staff. At Carpender, you can study and collaborate in the common areas, access free internet, technology, and printing services in the computer lab, and meet with Douglass staff for mentorship appointments.
