As the first STEM LLC, established in 1989, it welcomes up to 70 first-year students intending to major in the sciences. Located on the Douglass Campus, the Sciences LLC provides a nurturing environment that fosters a strong sense of belonging and promotes academic excellence among women in science. Watch Video!
"Stay in the Loop” with the Douglass SAS DIMACS Computer Science LLC! Since 2016, up to 40 first-year students intending on majoring in computer science have the opportunity to participate in this impactful community for women in computing. This community is on the Busch Campus. Watch Video!
“Get the Prescribed Care” that will help you thrive in the Douglass Pharmacy and Nursing LLC. Since 2023, up to 40 first-year students in the Schools of Pharmacy and Nursing live together in this health focused community which takes place on the Busch Campus.
The SUPER Research Experience is a non-residential research program for Douglass STEM students, regardless of sex, including students of diverse gender identities. SUPER provides an opportunity for students to engage in research early in their education. The program offers motivated STEM students guided research and multi-layered mentorship. SUPER has four components and runs from January to September.
Douglass WiSE WORKS (Workforce Opportunities and Resources for "K"areers in STEM) is the umbrella for all career-based initiatives for Douglass Women in Science and Engineering. The goal of WiSE WORKS is to provide Douglass STEM students, regardless of sex, including students of diverse gender identities, with STEM specific career development, career mentoring, and career opportunities.
