Students at Public Leadership Education Network Seminar

Students in the Public Leadership Education Network at Douglass (PLEN) traveled to the Women in Public Policy Seminar in Washington, DC. While there, they visited congressional offices, toured Smithsonian Museums, and visited the Verizon Building. Through the program, they connected with women professionals in different sectors of public leadership. They worked on diplomacy simulations, attended a networking night, and even had the opportunity to visit the public funeral of former President Jimmy Carter.
