STEM Research
About
The SUPER Research Experience is a non-residential research program for Douglass STEM students, regardless of sex. SUPER (Science for Undergraduates – a Program for Excellence in Research) provides an opportunity to engage in research early on in education. The program offers motivated STEM students guided research, multi-layered mentorship, and stipend. SUPER has four components and runs from January to September.

Students must complete 10 weeks of research. Summer research runs from the end of May through the beginning of August. Example: May 27 - August 1

No, there are no credits associated with the Summer Research Program. Participating students receive a $3000 stipend.

Priority is given to students who have no college level research experience.

Priority is given to students in STEM majors.

- U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible to work in the U.S.
- Students majoring in STEM with an interest in conducting STEM research
- No prior college level research experience
- Recent C’s or better in STEM courses
