Wild Embers Performance & Arts Event

Join the Voorhees Choir and the Center for Women in the Arts at Douglass for the Wild Embers concert on March 5, 2025! Wild Embers is a poem and book by Nikita Gill set to music by composer Melissa Dunphy, and this interdisciplinary performance/arts event seeks to celebrate women and gender diverse composers and artists. A teaching artist from Scarlet Arts Rx will be onsite doing live drawing/painting, responding in real time through color and movement to the music/poetry. This experience counts towards the Douglass Discovery curriculum requirement. R3: Career/Discovery/Professional Development/Research.
