Visiting Douglass

Open Houses at Douglass

Have you been admitted to Rutgers University—New Brunswick for the fall 2020 semester? Join us on campus to experience just what we mean when we say the "Douglass Difference." Learn about the community, research, career development, mentoring, and scholarship opportunities available to you through DRC. Hear from current students, take a walking tour, and speak with current faculty and staff.

At this time the Rutgers University Admitted Student Open House has been canceled due to the change in Operating Status of Rutgers University. The Sacred Path Reception for admitted students has also been canceled. Please check back for more information regarding virtual distribution of content from the Undergraduate Admissions Office.

Campus Tours

At this time walking tours of campus have been canceled due to the change in Operating Status of Rutgers University through April 15, 2020.

There is no better way to learn about how Douglass amplifies your Rutgers University–New Brunswick experience than from a current student themselves! Weekday tours (except Tuesdays tours) depart from the Student Enrollment and Engagement Office located in room 104 of College Hall at 2:00 pm. Directions can be found here. Tours for the spring semester begin on February 10, 2020 and will continue through April 30, 2020. Please note, there will be no Tuesday afternoon tours from March 13-22, and April 17. Weekend tours will not be offered during the remainder of the academic year.

Information Sessions

At this time Information Sessions have been canceled due to the change in Operating Status of Rutgers University through April 15, 2020.

Our student leaders have prepared an information session designed to provide prospective students and guests with the opportunity to learn more about the variety of resources and opportunities Douglass Residential College offers students. From first-year research opportunities and academic support to leadership development and professional development, information sessions will help you identify what programs you can take advantage of while also showcasing what it means to be a part of the DRC community. All information sessions begin at 1:00 PM on select Fridays. At the conclusion of an information session, typically one hour in length, we invite our guests to join their Red Pine Ambassador for a Douglass Campus walking tour.

If you are interested in attending a campus tour or an information session, please email discoverdouglass@echo.rutgers.edu for confirmation, location, and parking details.
