About The Global Leaders Program
The Global Leaders is a year-long experience open to all Douglass students who previously participated in the Global Village. You will take two credit-bearing courses in the Fall and Spring and have an international service-learning project experience fully funded by Douglass. Over the course of a year, you will learn deeply about the culture of a country, travel abroad during Winter break and connect what you learned to the New Brunswick community upon your return.

- Successful completion of the Global Village program or one of the Feminist Advocacy Courses
- Gender and Human Rights 01:988:405 and Gender Based Violence as Human Rights Violations 01:988:447
- Suggested but not required: the student has not had prior travel experience with Rutgers University
- Have a valid passport and be able to travel abroad for two weeks in January
- Successful completion of the Global Village program or one of the Feminist Advocacy Courses
