View Student Artwork! The Global Village Art as Activism Show
The Global Village Art as Activism House, a Douglass living-learning community focused on the global role of art in social justice, wrapped the academic year by putting on their annual exhibition. Titled “I WELCOME CHANGE but sometimes I wish I could change back,” the exhibition ran as part of the Mary H. Dana Women Artists Series Galleries in the Douglass Library with the support of The Rutgers Center for Women in Arts and Humanities. The exhibition included student artwork that centered on the theme of creating community.
