Many different hands, visions, and contributions make Douglass strong!

The Douglass Art Mural from Fem Fest 2026, an event in honor of International Women's Day, has officially been installed in its new home on the second floor of Carpender Hall. Created by hundreds of Douglass students painting side by side, the mural brings the spirit of our campus to life through shared creativity and collaboration. Thank you to everyone who contributed. Your talent and dedication make our community stronger!

Special thanks to Madeline Donabauer DRC’28,  Nicole Ianuzelli, Senior Program Coordinator, Center for Women in the Arts at Douglass, and Dr. Madinah Elamin, Assistant Dean of Strategic Programs, who made the finishing touches and brought all the pieces together.

Take a look at the mural's journey from start to finish!
