Intro to Scientific Research Course

Introduction to Scientific Research (ISR) is the required academic component of the SUPER program and is offered each spring semester. The course introduces students to the fundamentals of the research process and provides hands-on experience by placing participants in a Rutgers faculty member's research lab for five hours per week.

Participation in ISR is a prerequisite for Douglass STEM students who wish to take part in the SUPER Summer Research Program. Through classroom learning and faculty mentorship, students develop the skills and experience needed to succeed in undergraduate research.
