Barbara Voorhees Mentor Application

Make a difference while developing your leadership skills. Barbara Voorhees Mentors support incoming Douglass students as they transition to Rutgers, offering guidance, encouragement, and one-on-one mentoring throughout their first year. As a mentor, you'll:

• Build leadership and mentoring skills
• Support first-year students' success
• Explore gender, leadership, and feminist pedagogy through coursework
• Earn up to $1,000

Eligibility: Students who have completed or are currently enrolled in Knowledge and Power and will complete The Mentoring and Leadership Practicum.

Limited spots available: Approximately 20 positions each fall and 10 each spring.
