With its individualized, holistic approach, Douglass mentoring recognizes the distinct, various needs of first year, sophomore, and upper-class students, as well as transfer students and non-traditional age students. Read more »
With the exception of commuter students, Douglass Residential College students are required to reside in college-affiliated halls and apartments on the Douglass Campus for at least one year while at Rutgers University. This residency requirement is typically completed in the first year. Read more »

"Knowledge & Power: Issues in Women’s Leadership," (01:988:130) a 3-credit mission course taken by all Douglass students, examines challenges and opportunities confronting women in today’s society. Students are exposed to factors affecting young women’s leadership development, are encouraged to become active and engaged learners, and are prepared to think critically about their own goals in education.
