Experiencing college life is easy at Douglass Residential College. From an hour for a walking tour or information session to attending a Discover Douglass Day or an online webinar, you can get your questions answered! If you are looking for a more in-depth session, join us for one, or a few of our events in the fall or spring. Whether you have a portion of your weekend to spare or just an afternoon, visiting Douglass Residential College and hearing from our students is one of the best ways to truly understand and experience what we have to offer.

November Break Days!

Come visit Douglass Residential College during your November break days on Thursday, November 9th and Friday November 10th. On both Thursday and Friday, we will be hosting special information sessions beginning at 1:30 PM. At the conclusion of the information session, join us for a campus walking tour where you will be able to learn about the history of Douglass Residential College and speak first-hand to a current DRC student. You’ll find that the DRC community is one that will greatly impact your Rutgers experience!

Douglass Campus Tours

Merging the past and present, Douglass Campus walking tours provide prospective students and guests with the opportunity to learn about the history of Douglass Residential College and experience the campus culture. Led by a Red Pine Ambassador, a current DRC student, you will have the opportunity to learn about what a typical day for a Rutgers and Douglass Residential College student includes, ways to get involved on-campus and have all your questions answered.

Tours are hosted at 2:00 PM daily, on weekdays from now until Friday, December 1.

Information sessions

Hosted on select Friday afternoons, information sessions provide prospective students and guests with the opportunity to learn more about the variety of resources and opportunities Douglass Residential College offers students. From first-year research opportunities and academic support to leadership development and professional development, information sessions will help you identify what programs you can take advantage of while also depicting what it means to be a part of the DRC community.

At the conclusion of an information session, typically 30 minutes in length, we invite our guests to join a Red Pine Ambassador, a current DRC student, for a Douglass Campus walking tour.

Online Webinars

Can’t make it to campus but are still in search of more information on Douglass Residential College? We have just the option for you: DRC 101 online webinars. Our online webinars provide prospective students with an informational overview of DRC and provide you with the opportunity to speak with current DRC students while also learning about their on-campus involvement.
