Many Ways to Douglass
Douglass Residential College creates a small college atmosphere within a large, comprehensive research university. We’re a community of 2,400 within a sea of 40,000. We have seven living-learning communities, academic and professional groups, and we provide access to community involvement through clubs and activities.
Involved in the Community
Our computer science students work with middle-school girls to design and carry out fun and interactive group activities. Global Village students develop community service projects around their house themes.
Living Together: Housing
Any of our living-learning communities or our general housing could be your Douglass home. Find kindred minds and lifelong friends in these smaller settings. We have numerous living learning communities (LLCs) from our Global Village to STEM to our non-traditional community (women who have been out of high school for five or more years), each affording the Douglass student with the opportunity for a unique living and learning experience.
Douglass is located on a historic hilltop on the Douglass/Cook campus. Douglass is the best of both worlds, a small, empowering community nested within a large research university. Explore life at Douglass.
