About the Speakers from YETI:

Laura Griffith currently serves as Senior Director of Global Talent Acquisition for YETI, a rapidly growing designer, retailer, and distributor of a variety of innovative products to a wide-ranging customer base in the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe, and beyond. Leading a team of 15 professionals, Laura is responsible for driving YETI’s existing and go forward strategy that includes recruiting, sourcing, talent development, college recruiting, employment branding, diversity and inclusion, onboarding, and executive search.  Her career includes over 20 years of experience in global talent acquisition across various industries, such as Pharmaceuticals, Hi-Tech, and Consumer Goods.  She has worked for both public and private companies experiencing business transformation and aggressive growth.  Laura has a passion for developing high performing teams and helping professionals reach their full potential.  Originally from Southern California, Laura received her Bachelor’s Degree from University of California, Los Angeles. She relocated to Austin over 10 years ago where she currently resides with her husband and 2 dogs.

Elizabeth “Lizzy” Vardaman serves as Manager of Talent Acquisition for YETI.  Lizzy has recruited for roles at all levels, from Intern to Executive, across all functions and regions at YETI, with current oversight over recruitment for Operations, Direct-to-Consumer/eCommerce, Talent, Finance, and Legal.  Lizzy has a well-rounded background with over 10 years of experience in multiple functions within Talent, including HR management, learning & development, campus recruitment, and experienced hire recruitment, both in-house and on the agency side.  She is passionate about early career development and has led numerous interview and job search training sessions and workshops on university campuses.  Lizzy is a native Texan with a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Texas at Austin.  Outside of work, Lizzy spends most of her time pursuing outdoor adventures with her husband, 3 sprightly young children, and recently adopted dog.
