We cordially invite you to attend the Power of 100 Years: Douglass Centennial Celebration on Saturday, September 22, 2018. Founded in 1918 as the New Jersey College for Women with 54 students and 12 books in its library, Douglass has grown into a diverse and vibrant community of 2,600 undergraduate women and over 39,000 dedicated alumnae. 

The Daytime Colloquium begins with a reception and a welcome from Dean Jacquelyn Litt. Followed by panel discussions on Douglass history as it pertains to African-American, Jewish, and Puerto Rican students at Douglass. The colloquium will conclude with a panel of current Douglass students sharing their stories of the College today.

Campus Night returns to Douglass! The evening celebration begins with the Leaving a Legacy Ceremony. Attendees may participate in our official 100th-anniversary photo at College Hall and the planting of the Douglass Centennial Tree. Then, the celebration continues with food, music, games, centennial giveaways & so much more.
