Experiencing college life is easy at Douglass Residential College. From an hour for a walking tour or information session to an overnight visit, you can get your questions answered! If you are looking for a more in-depth session, join us for one, or both of our events in the fall. Whether you have a whole weekend to spare or just an afternoon, visiting Douglass Residential College is one of the best ways to truly understand and experience what we have to offer to students at Rutgers–New Brunswick.

Douglass Day- Information Session and Walking Tour of Campus
The Douglass Day highlights Douglass Residential College’s competitive edge programs for women and features deans and guest speakers, and a tour with current students. We design this event so that you can gather as much information as possible about Douglass and Rutgers while meeting students and some of the important educators, staff, and advisors who will support your learning at Rutgers University.

DOUGLASS SPRING OVERNIGHT WEEKEND
Congrats on being admitted to Rutgers! Join us and fellow students for a weekend at Douglass. During your stay, you will have the opportunity to explore the college and campus with other prospective students and the current Rutgers student hostesses. Your stay includes an informational session, a complimentary welcome lunch for you and your family, campus tours, a class visit, meals, overnight hosting and many other fun programs! The cost of this program is $50 which offsets the cost of meals and materials given during the weekend. The fee will not be refunded if you cancel or do not come to the event. If the fee associated with this program creates a significant financial burden, please contact Allie Kroeper via email at allison.kroeper@echo.rutgers.edu.

Admitted to Rutgers? Stop by Douglass Residential College during the University Wide Open House. We offer information sessions, campus tours, and an opportunity to speak with current Douglass women! Information Session.  Say YES! to Success through Douglass. Start times: 9:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1:00 p.m. Douglass is nationally known for award-winning, co-curricular programs for women at Rutgers.  Find out why commuters and residents join the Douglass program as part of their Rutgers experience!  Session led by the Dean of Recruitment and New Student Programs.  Douglass is open to women pursuing any major at Rutgers-New Brunswick.  Take a scheduled walking tour of the Douglass campus before or after sessions.  Douglass Student Center, Trayes Hall A, Douglass Campus.

Information Session.  Women in the Sciences, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM).  10:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.  Learn how women majoring in the areas of the sciences, technologies, engineering, and mathematics at Rutgers receive support and opportunities through the Douglass Project. Session led by the Dean of the Douglass project.  Douglass Student Center, in the Douglass Lounge, Douglass Campus.

Information Session.  Transfer students and Non-traditional aged women at Rutgers. 10:45 a.m.  If you are a transfer student and/or graduated from high school five or more years ago this session is for you!  Whether you are a commuter or plan to live on campus, at Douglass, adult students receive in-depth advising, designated lounge and housing spaces, special programming and scholarships.  Douglass Residential College understands that adult women students going full or part time require different kinds of support and guidance than traditional aged students.  Douglass Student Center, in the Douglass Lounge, Douglass Campus.

DOUGLASS EVENTS AT RUTGERS DAY
Kick off Rutgers Day at Douglass! Your day will begin with a quick Douglass Residential College information session led by the Dean of Recruitment and New Student Programs, followed by a 45-minute walking tour of our scenic campus, filled with fun historical facts and up-to-date information about Douglass and Rutgers. Join us for fun giveaways and to find out why both resident and commuter women at Rutgers are choosing to join our small community.

Mary I. Bunting Admitted Student Tea.
Enjoy a tea hosted at the residence of the Douglass Dean for women who are newly admitted to Rutgers-New Brunswick, and have been out of high school for five years or more. Your visit will include an overview of Douglass Residential College, and information from faculty, and current students on ways the Mary I.
