Heather Cabot is an award-winning journalist, former ABC News Correspondent, and anchor of World News Now/World News This Morning. Cabot’s popular new book Geek Girl Rising is a call to action for women to “think big and act bold.” Cabot will be the Keynote Speaker at the BOLD Conversations - Douglass Career Conference, a day-long conference for students featuring professional women and alumnae. Experts will help to prepare students to transition successfully into graduate school and the professional world.

The accompanying Exhibit, “What I Know Now, That I Wish I Knew Then” will be on display from October 1-November 15, 2017 in the Douglass Library. The exhibit, curated by Professor Karen Cerulo, (Sociology Department) features words of career advice and reflection by professional women.
