Join Douglass alumna Dr. Susan Martin (DC’68), the 2017-2018 Blanche, Edith and Irving Laurie New Jersey Chair, for a discussion on the current immigration and refugee crises. Dr. Martin is the Donald G. Herzberg Professor Emerita of International Migration. She was the founder of the Institute for the Study of International Migration in the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. She is currently serving as Chair of the Thematic Working Group on Environmental Change and Migration in the Knowledge Partnership on Migration and Development in the World Bank. The event is a collaboration among Douglass, the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies and the Institute for Women’s Leadership.
