Opportunities in Healthcare & Medicine (NJC Lounge): There is an enormous variety of jobs in healthcare, and for those interested in working in the field, this panel will give them a sense of what some of those jobs – and medical school – are like. If you have chosen your path and want to learn a little more about the day-to-day ahead of you, or if you are thinking of going into a health profession and haven’t made up your mind in just what position, this panel is for you!

And with the range of careers in media fields, this area is a popular one for many students. The panelists in this session have established careers in media or communications and will share their stories and advice.

What to do with a Liberal Arts Degree (Meeting Room B): This panel will provide insight into the plethora of career options for liberal arts graduates. Additionally, hear from panelists with law degrees. Come discover what it is like to graduate with a liberal arts degree and have a successful career.

Becoming a Professional Advocate for Social Justice (Meeting Room B): Thinking about changing the world, but not sure how to pursue a career you are passionate about? Join our panelists for an expert discussion about careers in the social justice field. Learn first-hand about what it is like to work in a sector that promotes equality, diversity, and civil society leadership.

Careers in STEM Fields (NJC Lounge): Are you interested in a STEM field but do not know what the experience is like? This panel  includes professionals working in a wide variety of STEM fields  as well as a current Ph.D student. Hear about the steps these women took to get started in their careers in STEM, and the lessons they learned and obstacles they faced along the way.
