Applying for Douglass Scholarships

A multitude of scholarship opportunities are available at Douglass. Awards are competitive and offered annually to both newly admitted (first-year and transfer) and continuing Rutgers/Douglass students. Special awards are also designated for incoming adult students who have graduated from high school five or more years ago.

All women newly admitted to Rutgers are encouraged to apply in February each year. Extracurricular activities, scholastic achievement, leadership and volunteerism are considered for all applicants. Notification of awards occurs each year between February and June.

Current Douglass students also continue to be recognized for their accomplishments through a set of special scholarships and awards. General merit or need-based scholarships are awarded each year, as well.  Eligible Douglass students must have a 3.000 cumulative GPA or higher at the end of the spring semester.

Applications will open for the Current Student Scholarship on Sunday, January 17, 2016 and will be due by Friday, May 6, 2016. If interested, please check back in January 2016 to access the Current Student Scholarship Application.
