Getting Involved: Student Life

If you're currently a Douglass woman, you already know that your involvement in the community is a major theme at Douglass Residential College. If you're thinking about Douglass, you'll come to know that one of the most wonderful features of Douglass is its close-knit community, and everyone here, students and staff alike, will encourage your participation and contribution to its growth. 

Getting involved in student clubs, organizations, sports, community service, living-learning communities and campus events is, of course, a great way to make friends and get to know the resources available to you. But, it's also a central part of your learning experience at Douglass, and will help set you apart from your peers. 

By participating in the community, you're building leadership skills, communication skills, teamwork skills, relational skills, and other real world capacities that are vital to your personal growth, and will open many doors for you after college.
