Housing for Current Students Members of Douglass Residential College live in College-affiliated halls on the Douglass Campus for at least one year while at Rutgers University. This residency requirement is typically completed in the first-year. You are also given priority consideration for Douglass housing throughout your time at Rutgers. Our students make Douglass a supportive and friendly atmosphere like no other at Rutgers! Each of our residence halls offers the resources of a Peer Academic Leader in residence, and many offer Learning Community Coordinators or Graduate Mentors to further enhance your residential experience. Douglass has a variety of halls, including traditional dormitories, suites and apartment-style living as well as houses for fewer than 20 students. Doulgass’ Living Learning Communities also offer the unique benefit of taking your learning beyond the classroom and into your residence. Please carefully review the steps to select Douglass housing. Contact Lauren Zielinski if you have questions. You should also check our Events for upcoming housing events. Basic Steps to Selecting Housing Please follow these steps to ensure that you make the appropriate housing selection. A timeline will be available soon.
*If you were accepted to a Douglass Living Learning Community, your housing record should be pre-populated with the correct housing information. You will not be able to change your selection. If the selection is incorrect, please email Lauren Zielinski. Douglass Housing Choices & Application
